Summer Riding Program

Summer 2017

Session 1: July 9-15, 2017

Session 2: July 16-22, 2017

Session 3: July 23-29, 2017

Chatham Hall Summer Riding features individual week long residential programs offered for girls aged 10-16. Riders should be capable of walk-trot-and beginner cantering on their own, independent of a lunge line. Riders participate in two hour-long mounted lessons daily in addition to numerous equine and craft activities. Campers signing up for multiple sessions should be riding at an intermediate - advanced level.

During their stay at Chatham Hall's Summer Riding Program, campers live in dormitories, two to a room, and are supervised by an adult faculty member and college aged counselors. Riding lessons are taught by professionals in the equestrian field including full-time Chatham Hall Riding Instructors.

Registration for Summer Riding Camp 2017 is closed. To be placed on a wait list or to inquire about multiple session signups please contact Samantha Pleasant Fleming at or 434-432-5605.
