Investing in Your Daughter's Future

A successful education—and individual—must encompass and promote a broad worldview. As such, we seek bright students who represent many backgrounds geographically, socially, and economically. To make this possible, we offer a flexible tuition model that takes into consideration a family’s entire financial picture. Applying is easy, and more than two-thirds of our families receive some level of assistance, averaging about $40,000 per family.

A Flexible Tuition Model

We understand that a Chatham Hall education is a significant financial commitment, no matter a family’s financial landscape. We have adopted a flexible tuition model that awards financial aid based on a family’s unique income and expense portfolio. The online application is succinct and easy, and all applicants are encouraged to apply.

As part of our financial aid packages, we award merit-based scholarships—of which we have more than 30—to ensure that a Chatham Hall education is accessible to all qualified and accepted candidates. Aid is renewable; families are expected to apply each academic year. Our one, two, or monthly payment schedules allow families to plan their commitment.

Scholarships & Merit-Based Awards

Many alumnae, past families, friends of the School, and organizations recognize the value in a Chatham Hall education and continually support merit- and need-based scholarships. Because of their generosity, Chatham Hall offers more than 30 merit-based scholarships to help exceptional girls become extraordinary women.

Merit-based scholarships are financial awards granted to students based on their performance in academics, commitment to leadership, and/or other qualities. These awards are granted based on a student’s accomplishments and aspirations, and can help many families bridge the gap between their finances and tuition.

I had some great Advisors and they taught me the importance of being on time, getting my work done on time, and getting into a good routine. I think that makes me really appreciate Chatham Hall; it's made me grow confident as a person, I really came out of my shell.
