About Our Athletics Program

Whatever your ability, the Athletic Program at the Chatham Hall girls boarding school challenges you to learn and perform. Currently we field nine interscholastic sports: field hockey, cross country, volleyball, basketball, swimming, tennis, riding, golf and soccer. There is also a series of spirited intramural events, all culminating with an athletic banquet in May that celebrates the victorious team. In every athletic arena at our girls boarding school, the emphasis is on teamwork, camaraderie, leadership, and fair play.

Chatham Hall is a member of the Blue Ridge Conference and the Virginia Independent Schools Athletic Association. We've won numerous conference championships, most recently in swimming.

Tennis Ends Season in BRC Semi-finals
