Service Close To Home
- by R. Ankrom
While a group of Chatham Hall students traveled to South Africa to participate in the School’s annual service trip, three Chatham Hall girls gave part of their spring break to work on renovation of Habitat For Humanity houses in Danville.
Freshmen Ayssa Parrish and Annika Tice and junior Trilby Hren (joined by sophomore Helena Schorling and senior Hannah Early for a day) put in long hours last week to help bring several houses up to speed.
"Habitat for Humanity is a great service project because you realize that everything you do makes such a difference,” summed up Annika.
