2012 Baccalaureate and Commencement

Chatham Hall celebrated 2012 Baccalaureate and Commencement services on Saturday, June 2.
Baccalaureate, which was held in St. Mary’s Chapel, featured addresses by English teacher Dr. William Black and senior Bell Johnson.
The beautiful weather was a perfect backdrop for Commencement services which took place on the front lawn. Rector Dr. Gary Fountain led the services. Board of Trustee members Doug Goldstein P ’12 and Tracy Spencer P ’07, ’12 presented the Diplomas. Mrs. Frances Johnson Lee-Vandell ’60 presented Irises.
Dr. Black inducted the following seniors into the Cum Laude Society:

In honor of his retirement, Dr. Black was recognized with the dedication of an office in Willis Hall where he will continue work as the School’s Historian.
