Future Turtles, we're excited to invite you to campus this year for one of our Open Houses! Open Houses start on Sunday afternoons with optional overnight stays and conclude on Monday afternoons after campus tours, student and faculty panels, and more.
Carney O'Brien returned to Chatham Hall in 2024 having previously led the Admissions Team from 2014-2018. She was appointed head of school of the Washington Montessori School in 2018, and most recently served as the co-director of Roberts Field School. Carney brings decades of varied and extensive experience in independent schools, including as the director of secondary school advising, ninth grade dean, and English teacher at the Indian Mountain School and director of admission, assistant head of school, and teacher at Mizzentop Day School. She earned a B.A. in English from Vassar College and M.A. in educational psychology from Marist College.
Samantha Blankenship
Associate Director of Admissions; Summer Programs Manager
Samantha Blankenship came to Chatham Hall in 2021. She received a B.A. in communications from the University of South Carolina. Familiar with the girls' school environment after being the marketing specialist at St. Margaret's School, Samantha loves introducing and welcoming new families to the School, as well as being a class sponsor and Summer Programs manager. An avid traveler, she lives on campus and often visits nearby family.
Lauren Lamothe '18 returned to Chatham Hall in 2024 as the student and family experience coordinator. After graduating from Chatham Hall, Lauren studied biological sciences at North Carolina State University and conducted biomedical research under the NIH T-34 grant. In addition to her studies, she worked in various roles specializing in customer experience, client relations, marketing, and event planning. As a Chatham Hall student, Lauren was a member of the IEA team and continued riding at the collegiate level.
Pamella Harbin came to Chatham Hall in 2016 after a 37-year career at Timken (Torrington). She works with the Admissions team to welcome prospective families and help them throughout the application and enrollment process.
