Future Turtles, we're excited to invite you to campus this year for one of our Open Houses! Open Houses start on Sunday afternoons with optional overnight stays and conclude on Monday afternoons after campus tours, student and faculty panels, and more.

Chatham Hall In Depth: Home Away from Home

At Chatham Hall, “home” is more than just a place—it’s a feeling of belonging, growth, and connection that stays with you for a lifetime. For over 130 years, we’ve welcomed students from around the world to our 365-acre campus in the rolling hills of Chatham, Virginia. Here, boarding life is not just an aspect of our school—it’s the heartbeat of our community.

Join us virtually on Wednesday, February 5, 2025, at 7:00 p.m. to hear from current and past students, our Office of Student Life, and more as we dive into all aspects of campus life and boarding and how we support students in finding their place.

We're excited to welcome all newly accepted Turtles to our Admitted Students' Day on March 30-31! Revisit the School to celebrate your acceptance while getting more acquainted with our community. Optional overnight stays are also available for accepted students.

We host individual campus visits Monday-Friday by appointment. Typical visits last 2-3 hours and often include a tour, interview, class visit, community meal, and more!
