Alumna Returns to Support Global Entrepreneurship

Kathryn Waters Ware ’14 returns to campus to support the Global Entrepreneurship I class.
In the Global Entrepreneurship (Year One) class, students recently completed a SWOT analysis of Chatham Hall to identify areas where they could add value to our campus. As they prepare to pitch their ideas, many students focus on building upgrades—from dormitories and common spaces to the student kitchen and bathrooms. To provide professional insights, we welcomed back architect and alumna Kathryn Waters Ware ’14 as a field expert!

Kathryn's return to Chatham Hall was invaluable. She reviewed the students' plans, offered constructive feedback on feasibility, and helped them think through practical considerations for their designs. Her real-world insights provided a deeper understanding of architecture and project management, empowering students to refine their ideas and dream big while staying grounded in what’s possible.

We can’t wait to see how these innovative proposals develop and are grateful to Kathryn for her mentorship and expertise. This project exemplifies our commitment to hands-on learning and shows how Chatham Hall empowers students to shape their environment. Stay tuned as these future entrepreneurs and designers bring their visions to life!
