Our entire community came together for Community Day of Service, a powerful reminder that there’s always time to give back.
We kicked off the day with a group activity focused on the UN Sustainability Goals. Students gathered in groups based on the sustainability goal they were most excited about and set out to create a visual depiction of the goal as a group. Then, we rolled up our sleeves to serve at Chatham Hall through cleaning up our many trails, Frances Hallam Hurt Park behind Town Hall in downtown Chatham, Habitat for Humanity's ReStore, God’s Pittcrew, God’s Storehouse, Grace A Lot Clothing Donation, and Ronald McDonald House of Roanoke—making an impact near and far!
From clearing trails to stocking shelves and supporting families, every act of service made a difference. THANK YOU to all who participated—you embody the spirit of compassion, leadership, and action!
