Last Official Community Art Studio! Hot Chocolate will be served. Sentimental Xmas and Holiday Tunes will fill the air. Holiday Cards, Xmas ornaments, Fussy-cut handmade gift tags will be made. And for those who would like to try their hand at creating a handmade book ( You will have available to you an assortment of bookmaking supplies, and beautiful papers)
Please join the Whitner Art Studio for the End of the semester Art and Photography Exhibition. The OPENING RECEPTION will be held in the Whitner Gallery and the Blackbox Theater from 6:30pm to 7:30pm. Come and join us for Hot Chocolate and Desserts. The art and photography students have worked hard all semester long and would love to see and hear what you think about the work presented at the Exhibition. The Art & Design I classes will present their "Maud Gatewood" Color and Design cards, as well as their mixed media paintings. The Art & Design III class will be presenting large format ( floor to ceiling) portraits and altered sculptures as well as mixed media books. Photography students will be presenting a deep dive into Aperture and Depth of Field, as well as compositional elements using digital cameras.
