“Chatham Hall’s lovely setting combined with excellent, stimulating and supportive teachers was just what I needed at the age of 15. I was continually challenged to do more than what I thought was my best, and for this I am most grateful.
My three years at Chatham Hall have served me well my entire adult life. I therefore simply wish to return the favor to Chatham Hall in some small way.”
In hopes of offering a mind-expanding experience to their daughter, Louis and Helen Young of Connecticut enrolled Caroline Young Moore ’54 at Chatham Hall as a sophomore in 1951. Caroline flourished at Chatham Hall, eventually being awarded with the Rector’s Medal upon her graduation, the highest of honor at Chatham Hall. Caroline and her childhood sweetheart, John, retired to Aspen, Colorado in 1982, where they recently celebrated their 60th wedding anniversary. We extend our deepest gratitude to Caroline and John for remembering Chatham Hall in their estate plans, and for their dedication to Chatham Hall.
