iFest: A Vibrant Celebration of Food, Fashion, and Culture at Chatham Hall

Each year, iFest brings the Chatham Hall community together to celebrate the richness of global diversity through food, fashion, and culture. This much-anticipated event is a highlight of the school calendar, offering students the chance to explore and share traditions from around the world.

This year’s festivities kicked off with the iFest Food Fair, where students gathered in Dutch to enjoy a variety of international cuisines. The event featured dishes inspired by global favorites handpicked to represent the diverse culinary preferences of our students. From savory to sweet, the exotic flavors and unique treats created a vibrant and delicious atmosphere, sparking conversations about the cultural significance of the foods and ingredients.

The celebration continued with an exciting fashion show, where students proudly took to the runway to showcase traditional attire from countries around the globe. With garments representing Egypt, South Sudan, Africa, Ghana, and India, participants modeled and shared the stories and cultural meanings behind the clothing. The colorful display of fabrics, patterns, and accessories highlighted the beauty of cultural expression and offered the audience a deeper appreciation of global traditions.
