Chatham Hall to Travel to Cambodia Spring 2025

Chatham Hall will again offer an experiential learning trip over its Spring Break, this year to Cambodia from March 8-20, 2025.
The School will partner with educational travel organization WorldStrides to allow students to engage, learn, problem solve, and provide needed assistance while appreciating and learning more about their place and responsibility in the world.

The Leadership & Community Engagement: Cambodia program will feature service-learning projects, visits to museums and markets, a local community exchange, sightseeing tours, and more. As noted by WorldStrides, “Cambodia's rich cultural history makes it one of the few places in the world where you can trek lush jungles and stumble upon lost temples and forgotten cities, then tour a major urban center like Phnom Penh … During this trip, students will develop and implement solutions for the local community, from building living accommodations for teachers to working on new classrooms at the school that prevent overcrowding.”

Chatham Hall faculty members will chaperone the nine-day trip. Please click here for more information and to register. The fee listed will be offered until September 19, after which it will increase.

Chatham Hall is committed to offering experiential opportunities to all students. Financial aid is available for students, new and returning, who qualify. If you plan to apply for financial aid, please do not register until an award has been made. To apply, please visit the Academic Resource Board in TurtleNet after July 15 to fill out the application and email it and your essay to Dean Griswold.
