Chatham Hall Equestrian Team Finishes as Reserve Champions & Heads to Zone Finals!
Chatham Hall’s equestrian team wrapped up an incredible showing at the IEA Zone 3 Region 8 Finals, finishing as Reserve Champions and securing multiple individual qualifications for Zone 3 Finals at the Virginia Horse Center in Lexington, VA, on March 14-16.
Riders Advancing to Zone Finals
Several Chatham Hall riders delivered outstanding performances and earned their spots at the next level of competition:
Lainey R. ’26 – Open on the Flat
Nora A. ’28 – Novice Over Fences
Lilly C. ’27 – JV Walk/Trot/Canter
Marilyn M. ’26 – JV Walk/Trot (Marilyn finished second to Charlie H. ’28, but with Charlie attending a school trip, Marilyn will compete in her place.)
Other Notable Rides
Anna F. ’27 – 3rd place in both Team Intermediate Over Fences and on the Flat
Lilly C. ’27 – 1st place in JV Walk/Trot/Canter for the team
Lainey R. ’26 – 2nd place in both Open Over Fences and Open on the Flat for the team
Adding to the team’s success, Paloma E. ’25 was recognized with the Sportsmanship Award, a testament to the character and camaraderie that define Chatham Hall riders.
